there was practically no one in our building and from the looks of it, this is a pretty big complex. We were a party of 3 so the big room (meant for 5 when I booked) was nice & comfy. Not fun at all, but if you are looking for a night away from partying, etc. this is a good bet. less

Very nice hotel, only 2 minor gripes. Firstly, reception and check in closed very early, before dark, although the check in system after hours is fine it did seem strange it shut so early. Secondly, lovely redecorating in the rooms, but silly things let it down like mouldy bath curtains in the bathroom. Such an easy thing to fix too! Otherwise, great place, great location and love the pool. less

This hostel is not the most intimate but does the job. From what I heard its one of the best in Airlie, away from the bars. I stayed in the 17 bed loft dorm which was good, but there is a high turnover here due to the sailing trips. Not a place to stay long term - the 4/6 bed rooms don't all have windows, charges for towels / kitchen equipment. But overall would reccommend less

I'm a single female travelling alone and beaches put me in a room with 7 men. I don't think thats safe or fair. They don't let you drink alcohol in your rooms and in the 2 nights I was there staff members walked into the room unannouced to do a random alcohol check. The carpet in the room is also DISGUSTING. I would definetly NOT reccommend this hostel to anyone, there are better ones like Magnums or YHA right next door. Stay here only if you absolutly have to. less

Bed bugs... I was warned about the night noise, but didn't realise that I was going to sleep next to a live band stage.

Very spacious double accomodation; very cheap too. Quite run down and could do with a lick of paint, but you get what you pay for and we were pretty happy.
Staff fairly unattentive; took forever to check in and out. Unable to get late check-out extension, altho there were numerous signs saying yo ucould request it.
Overall pleased wth the accom and can forsee further stays at Koalas. less
