Wonderful experience! You were very nice and hospitable and can't imagine a more enjoyable place to stay while in Amsterdam. Also, with all due respect, your daughter is a good-hearted (and beautiful) young woman and I was happy to have met her as well.
Thanks again,
Doug Belton less

Jonas is a fox and a great host. Very accommodating of us arriving early and leaving late (sorry!!) Would not stay anywhere else in Amsterdam. We felt so relaxed and safe there, right at home! Great experience boating down to the town and Jonas had the time to give us some great directions and advice about the city. Was sceptical of the bathroom arrangements at first but it was actually one of the best showers I've ever had! Great food for breakfast too. Thanks Jonas xoxo! less

This is definitely an awesome experience! Boat had loads of character - a great place to hang out as a group of 4. Beds and blankets warm and cozy, nice hang out area with a stocked 1 euro beer fridge. Free wifi and computers. Bathroom was ok - a little cold though. there was a full kitchen but you could only use the microwave - would have been nice to be able to cook our own meals. The owner never actually meet us when we arrived which was a pain. Over all, we really enjoyed our stay here! less

We had the 5 person private apartment which was in a good location near the train station and the red light district. Its a nice set up if you want something a little more private than a shared dorm. Duke was extremely nice and met us at the station to walk us to the apartment. I would recommend giving Cribs a shot. less

Took me a while to find the place but the guy at the counter was really helpful. Settled into the bar for a few drinks, watched the bar girls doing karaoke, and battled with their infuriating free wifi advertising login pages. Found some dude in my bed so slept in another one, grabbed a nice (free) breakfast on the way out. All in all not too bad. less

Very much enjoyed our stay; Eleanor was extremely friendly and welcoming when we arrived, as well as helpful and informative. Brilliant location - only a ten minute walk into town and train station, and being situated on water truely adds to the Amsterdam experience.

2 words: Bed bugs!! We changed hotels and got our money back after waking up with bugs in the bed, and horrendous ITCHY and RED bites covering our arms, legs, torsos and faces. The owners were not surprised when we showed them the bugs we'd found on our mattresses and said it has been a recurring problem. Disgusting.
Also, if you've packed anything larger than a napsack, there will be no room for your bags. You could not pay me to stay at Intersail again. less
