I have traveled alot, and this was one of the best hostels I've stayed in bar none. Everything is were you want it and the staff are extremely helpful. Only thing I would say is be careful of the Silom 1 Railway Twin on the 2'nd floor as it has a really loud noise from the air con fans outside and it's very hard to sleep at night. Get drunk enough on the 2 beers for 100baht and you won't care! Enjoy this hostel while you can!!! less

There was no map on the hostelworld website and directions were very poor. Taxi driver couldn't find the hotel so dumped me in the middle of know where. Re-Fil now is a very quiet, friendly and immaculately clean hostel. We felt the rooms were a little small and a bit too bright but the staff are very friendly and helppful and the outdoor area is very pleasant. The location is a bit out of the way although they do offer a tuk-tuk service to the sky train, however this does cost a small amount per person and we feel it should be a complementary service. lessvichaohouse1004 (from USA), July 2008:

It is very out of the way which was nice as it was quiet, however, you need a taxi to get to everything and trying to get a taxi back to the place can sometimes be quite the difficult task! A really great hostel. A little away from the main action, but in a good way. It's quiet, close to lots of good places to eat and shop and super close to the sky train so you can get anywhere in the city in no time! It was super clean, and traveling on my own, I felt really safe there. I have stayed twice and would definitely stay again! less
