But the staff, especially the one who in charge at the reception in the afternoon, are really nice.
By the way, it'd be better if they provide the breakfast free. close

I gave "average" for location and security, because on one hand it seems to be located in a quite risky part of town, but on the other hand it's close to the "parte vieja". No safes in rooms, but I felt secure close

Also, the train that connects the hostel with the city only runs till 1130 or so at night so you may have to take a taxi if you want to stay out late. Overall, a great deal close

I waited 3 hours to check in and could not contact the reception at anytime. The rooms were not located near the reception and the hostel speaks no other language other than spanish, which creates many difficulties for an international traveller. If there were any problems, questions or issues, you were on your own to sort them out as there was no one to assist you. Location is not in Bilbao...this is misleading. However room was lovely and clean and well maintained. close

Went back time and time after and still no one there to answer the door only information was in spanish to phone a number tried both of their numbers and they just hung up on us. So therefore we were forced to head back into Bilbao and pay too much for a hotel as there wasnt any other accomodation available, that is the reason why we pre booked no one to understand us or help no contact number for hostel world to help us made our trip to spain very very frustrating. We will be checking our bank details and if we have been charged more than the small deposit amount we will be taking further action. Very unhappy about the services provided to high paying Australian tourists. close
