Great place with lovely hosts. The 30 min walk to the old town is probably the only downfall, but that can be forgiven for all the other things that make this place so nice. Also, the fun factor would have no doubt rated higher had we not stayed mid-week during the quiet season. Daniel and his wife will welcome you a way you have rarely seen, they are just great and so warm. Brasov is moreover a marvellous town with very nice walks in the mountain ! less

This is the place to stay in Brasov... in all of Romania, in fact. Eugene is the nicest hostel manager I've met! He's very accomodating and super friendly and he knows a ton about Romania history, past and present. I\'ve never stayed at a hostel before and this was a great first impression. Gabriel was able to give a lot of fasinating history of the area and recomended amazing places to eat. He knew his stuff and was very fair in price and accomodation. He\'ll even act as a tour guide so you get a lot more out of the trip. The hostel is currently under renovation so the inside is all new and very comfortable. I would stay again if I get out that way another time. less

This was my second trip through Brasov and this is my favorite hostel so far. The locals that run the place are incredibly friendly and helpful. There wasnt much going on at the hostel itself, but for the time of year that I stayed (NOV), it's expected. It's about a 10 minute walk to the center of town, but it's also the closest hostel that I've found to the area. Very chill. Very laid back. This hostel set a whole new standard of "fun" and "staff". The girls who run it are constantly going out of their way to help you go on day trips, tours, activities. There was something to do every day, and I was there on the OFF season. The hostel was a bit cold at night and the fact that there are no shower curtains made showers cold and messy. Small set backs, but what's important is that I made the most of my time in Brasov. I would definitely stay here again. less
