The staff at Elia's B&B were very accomadating for us. The hostel is in a friendly area. (20 minute walk to two sets of good beaches and close to picturesque hiking). Very new hostel and plenty of food for breakfast. close

In the two weeks I traveled, this was my favorite part of the trip! To begin with, Sardinia is a beautiful place and Cagliari provides a lovely \"home base\" from which to travel. Even though I came to Cagliari alone, Luca (the owner) was incredibly friendly and helpful at all times, and breakfast was always delicious! The location is good...close to the bus and train stations, but also in the historic heart of town...and it\'s very easy to reach Poetto Beach with just a three-minute walk to the bus stop. I look forward to returning to Il Girasole in the future, hopefully for a longer stay...thank you, Luca! close

A very good apartment and location to stay in. The apartment was very spacious, modern and clean. It was fully equipment with everything we needed including basic cooking essentials. We were welcomed by the apartment owners who were very friendly and helpful. There were many bus stops and a metro stop close by which travelling easy. close

Situado en pleno barrio del Castillo,q.es como el casco histórico,muy entrañable.Y bien situado,pudiendo acceder fácilmente a la zona del puerto y más comercial. La dueña,Sabrina,se desvivirá en hacerte la estancia más fácil y acogedora. Muy recomendable. close

Really lovely rooms, a great appartment, spotless, nice breakfast etc. About a 10-15 min walk from the central station but its an easy walk, you can't get lost. They didn't have a record of our reservation, even though we had paid our deposit, luckily they had room, but it means I scored them low for staff/fun, as it wasn't ideal! close

This lodging is well worth the price. It's run by a young couple who live a short walk from one of Cagliari's suburb-villages and who have converted their home into a B&B. The rooms are cute and comfy, though a bit nippy in winter. However, it is normal in Italy for people not to have central heating, and they do provide enough blankets to keep you warm at night. Just make sure you bring warm pjs and thick socks. You will be invited to have a chocolate and a taste of mirto in front of the wood stove in the couple's own living room, while they go about their evening routine. Should you choose to stay for more than a day or two, you will feel almost like a member of the family by the time you leave. The location is great for nature lovers (There is a gorgeous view of the mountains!) and those who want to explore more than the city of Cagliari, not so great for the directionally challenged (like myself). Also be forewarned that the last bus from Cagliari to the B&B leaves at 8:30 PM, so if you want to go out in the city at night, you should stay somewhere else. That said, you will not find kinder, more accomodating hosts in all of Sardegna than Alessia and Danilo. They definitely go above and beyond the call of duty. close
