This is the best B & B in Cagliari or maybe the best in Sardinia, it is definitely the most superb B & B to get to know Cagliari.
Beyond that the owners are very hospitable and super nice. They gave us valuable and detailed information about the island.
The room was pretty clean, comfortable and well decorated (such as the house) and the breakfast was excellent.
A big hug to Rusty, Nina and Margarita
We enjoyed our short stay very much.
Thanks a million (for everything). less

As we arrived, we got very informative und helpful literature (flyer) about Cagliari and environs.
It was generally very hospitable und uncomplicated.
Furthermore we could not have our breakfast, because we had to leave at 6:30 am. But the owner of the accommodation got up at 6 o'clock am and made coffee and cockies for us (as surprise)!!!! ...very nice :-) less

We stayed in the 'Francesca' room, which is the 'suite'. It has a balcony with a splendid view. The room is like a small flat with a kitchinette and seperate bathroom. Very cosy & clean. We loved to be able to prepare breakfast whenever we liked, coffee/tea/marmelade etc. are provided. Renato, the owner, is a welcoming person, you can call him 24/7 if there is anything you need. The place is well located: 10min walk to the bus station, shops & historical center just around the corner. less

The place was very well decorated, had a lovely feel and the location was good. I think it was an off day: there was hardly any toilet paper and no one around to get more until about 10.30pm. Our second morning there was fine, with the owner discussing proposed activities and generally trying to be helpful. The views in Castello are always going to be limited, though we looked into a neighbouring house's toilet (we also had no curtain, only a net blind). Would consider going again to diff room. less

San Sparate is a beautiful town in its own right but if you aim at being in Cagliari then it is too far. Also, as we arrived after sundown without a local map (where would we get this anyway), we were directed to via san giovanni rather then via giovanni. To commute from Cagliari cost €2.50 for a return journey. less

Neptune is an apt turned into a B&B. There are two bedrooms, a kitchen, dinning room and bathroom- all with new furniture and all very clean. Antonio is very nice, as is his wife. He wakes up every morning to make a wonderful european breakfast. Location wise it is out of town a little but the bus system is very easy to use. But if you want to party in Cagliari-don't plan on catching a bus back late at night-the last one is at 9pm. less

The apartment was spotlessly clean (six out of five) and within easy walking distance of a supermarket and really good (and cheap) places to eat. There was also a town beach 10 minutes walk from the house.
This apartment works best as a base from which to explore the many fabulous local sites, and I recommend you come with a car. There is secure onsite parking.
Antonio provided a very welcoming and enjoyable stay. Very knowledgeable, accommodating, and very generous with his hospitality. less

Nice room with balcony, only sweets for breakfast, you should have a car (good possibilities to park in fron or near the building), no common rooms for exchange with other guests, for going to the bathroom you have to go out of the room, quite noisy room when direct near the entrance, no owner available for some insider tips but some guides in each room less

the breakfast or no proper breakfast -pastries and bad coffee in the room- was a disappointment. what i find also very strange is that it is quite isolated. It is only one apartment that has been turned into a bed-breakfast and the rest of building is for people who live there! finally the walls are so thin that you can hear everything.
good side very clean simple safe

They came to pick us up from bus station, but as soon as we arrived at the place they 'dumped' us in our room and asked for their money up front. They didn't clean the room every day, which they stated in their letter in the room. They don't really speak English either, but breakfast was ok. Only sweet things to choose from though, typically Italian I guess. less
