The best hostel I've stayed at in Australia, however the limited office hours are a problem. Don't expect anything to happen during the day - I got screwed because I couldn't lock up my bag during the day and pick it up for my late afternoon flight. A huge thanks is in order to the friendly and caring hostel managers for helping us immensly when apollo/cheapa campa car rental company tried to screw us over. I stayed at the Globetrotters for 5 days, and was very pleased to see a hostel so tidy and well organized. The staff were excellent and helpful. I would recommend this hostel to couples, families and backpackers who need good facilities in a calm area.

The Caravella was great. I had booked a single but since they didn't have one available when I arrived they gave me a double at the same price. The staff were really helpful in letting me book tours and such right at reception.
