This can be better if you have a car (like me), so you can go to aosta, lac vert, chamonix, annecy or geneve. The staff and people on the city are funny and receptive. Thank you, i want to be there next year.

He cooked us fresh bread with croissants and cereal our first morning, and was really nice about giving us rides into town when we needed them-- the one drawback to this place would be it's a bus ride from Chamonix, and they don't run late. The view of the mountains on the porch is unreal, and the rooms were nice, clean, very comfortable.
