though the hotel is outside of chania & old chania, the location is great if you want relaxation, quiet & close beaches that are not overrun with people. i thought the location was good for a person who was in crete to enjoy the island. besides, the walk into chania town was pleasant & not terribly long. overall, a great place to stay for the money. lessRicardo (Avid Traveller from Chile), October 2009:
