Despite supposedly being an english hotel, nobody here speaks any English. The room was lovely but there was no internet in the room, the phones in the hotel didn't make international calls and when we checked in they overchraged us on the price quoted on hostelworld and wouldn't acknowledge the 10 per cent already paid. This hotel was a very good choice. Very clean, excellent service, rooms has all Sheraton features. Not really a backpacker standard but an excellent choice for group travellers, family\'s and anyone else who wants a descent room with AC, TV, a good shower. Perfect base to see Chendu. The English owner does everything to please his guests. We were very happy with our upgrade. We are a Dutch family with two kids. Normally we sleep at Youth Hostels. But also exp with sharaton. This was the best!!! less

It's an interesting set-up, as it's kind of a room with the neighboring hotel. The staff is really friendly and helpful and I immediately felt a warm welcome with them. But, the place itself is not really set up for socializing with other guests, although you could probably meet people in their reception area. Otherwise the localitation is very good near turistics spots. The staff was very very hepfull and nice, they give us a free map and showed the important places to visit, also recomended to take the panda card so we kept some money with the entrances of touristic monuments. less

Two times the water in the shower was not really warm, there are hostels whit beter locations. There was really cold outside and there for it was alsow werry cold in the public places, toilets, showers, reception but maybe its like this in all south hostels in the winter. If it would have been warmer I think i loved the place! Beer are cheap here! less
