Just like everyone else says, this is a totally awesome hostel. Be there on thursday nights for the best asado (BBQ) EVER! Nice big kitchen. Air-con in the lounge area. Great roof top with really nice views over the city (especially if there as a mega storm brewing on the horizon). And the staff were all tops. Especially Ignacio, he deserves a pay rise... or three... especially after what he had to to do this morning. lol :) less

The hostel is in a good location and the staff are quite helpful, though there is nothing much to do in Cordoba on a Sunday!

People´s experiences of hostels largely depend on who happens to be staying in the place at the time. What makes this hostel special is the staff though, who always make a huge effort to welcome everyone equally, and go out of their way to create as social an environment as possible. I stayed at this hostel longer than any other on my trip, and many more people extended their stays whilst I was there, which is probably the best compliment one can pay. Best location, best staff, best crowd. less

Nice hostel with a fun and cultured staff. I sat and waxed cinema with on of the staff members and she was very savvy. I only wish I had more time. Good place. I bet even better when one of the bathrooms is done. less

Staff were very helpful and friendly.Hostel has unique artwork everywhere and has a large roof terrace (with asado) which is very nice.We were in double room that was spacious, but bathroom wall was not complete to the top and adjoined communal bathroom, so not that private. Shower water never seemed to get hot, but never freezing. Smoking seems to be allowed everywhere in the hostel which as non-smokers we didnt like. Arranged excursion to La Cumbracita & Belgrano was very good. less

Has the potential to be a really good, sociable hostel it was just dead when were there. The all-you-can-eat bbq got cancelled twice. Also the toilet takes about half an hour to refil (to flush) which is annoying. less

I found the staff mostly unwelcoming. The breakfast was also unsatisfactory. I don't think it would take very much more money or effort to serve fresh coffee or even to have a container of instant coffee on a table for hostel-stayers to serve themselves. However, the coffee issue pales in comparison to another issue I experienced: the lack of toilet paper in my room and in the public bathroom. I suspect, however, that the inattention of the staff was due to the chaos of the renovations. less
