Empfehle Recoletta. Bin 4x dort gewesen nach schlechter Erfahrung in The Point. Fruehstueck beinhaltet. Familienfreundlich. Hilfsbereit. Einige der Angestellten sprichen English. Nahe Zentrum, aber nicht in Partyzone. Heimische Atmosphaere.Ideal fuer jeden & preiswert.
Recommend Recoletta.Stayed 4 times after negative experience at The Point. Incl breakfast. Family friendly. Helpful. Some of staff speak English. Close to Zentrm but not in partyzone. Homely atmosphere. Suitable for anybody&cheap less

This is a well run hostel which is extremely clean.
It is a bit of a walk from the main plaza but not too far. I enjoyed being away from the main touristy bit and eating where the locals eat. But its still easy to get to san blas and plaza de arms. less

Pretty decent hostel close (three blocks) from the main square. Beds were comfy and the place clean. Free Wifi was a pleasant bonus. There was hot water, but our room had it's own water heater which didn't have enough capacity for three people to have a shower without giving it some time to 'recharge'. Once the hot water was used up, all water pressure disappeared and you couldn't take a shower. Besides that quibble, the rest of the hostel was good. less

The only down is the location which is a bit far from the Plaza de Armas. But itīs not a problem at all specially because the taxis cost 2,5 soles and the hostel is really great! Staff is very helpfull, the bar is awsome and itīs not so nosy anymore (i stayed in the nearest room and the sound didnīt bother me at all), they have graet menu, the rooms and bathroom are constantly cleaned...One of the best hostels I ever stayed in. less

Great hostel with really friendly staff who go out of their way to help you. The travel agency was really helpful and not trying to make money off you which was nice for a change. Would definitely use it and stay at the hostel again. Highly recommended less

New, spacious, clean! and relaxed... :)
DVD's, free internet/wifi, big kitchen with all facilities, fast laundryservice. Location is perfect for those who want to be a bit more amongst the locals, but still very close to the tourist center. Nothing is a problem for owner Paul and his friendly staff, who will bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasant as possible. less

The hostel was great! The staff was really awesome. Always willing to help with planning anything, giving directions and improving spanish. The hostel is impecably clean. The staff works really hard to keep it clean and their chef is the sweetest person. She is a great one to sit and chat about Peru/Cusco and learn Spanish. The tv lounge is great and the kitchen too. There is a constant flow of coca tea for the altitude and the cold nights. Sometimes its better to go directtothesourcewhenbookint less

A little far from the center of town, not difficult to get a taxi, clean room, friendly service with kitchen provided from tourists with basic amenities ie hot water, bread, fridgeration, etc.Train station in Poroy ~ 25 min away.Lack of hot water in tiny shower.Close to other businesses in town, one night we were kept awake by traditional loud drumming and singing until the early am, not ideal for early starts to Machu Picchu.Owner is willing to go out of his way to make you comfortable. less
