Nice and very helpful staff.
It is a little bit far from the city centre (15 mins walk), but it may be better location when you need to rest to acclimatise yourself rather than hectic town centre hotels.
Highly reccommended.

Don't be fooled by the scary-looking door. This place is nice on the inside and our beds were comfy. It's a full ten-minute walk from town, though, and I didn't feel totally safe outside after dark (which was around 8:00 pm). less

Definitely a party hostel, but very well-run, and kept very clean. The distance outside the center is a slight disadvantage...but the walk (only 15 minutes, but uphill) keeps you in shape...and if you're feeling lazy, the cab ride is $1. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, and good facilities (bar, food, wifi, lockers etc.). I've stayed here four nights, and I'll come back when I'm done with the Salkantay trail. less

Really great hostel, they made our start in Peru super easy. Airport transfer, nice comfy rooms (best beds for weeks!), good DVD selection and nice breakfast. Fantastic location, close to everything but not too close. They also let us store our gear while we went off into the jungle for a few days and have helped us arrange our trip to Machu Picchu. Wonderful. less

A grand hostel in a reasonble location for a good price. If booking a double with ensuite request to be in the main of the hostel on the 2nd or 3rd floors, as the rooms by the road have a smell problem (something to do with plumbing in the bathrooms), and the road is pretty noisy. Had hot water and brekky standard. Free pickup service handy. less
