Really just a place to sleep. The building seems like and old house. The dorms don't have lockers and sometimes the hostel gets unattended, which is not good in case you need to ask something to someone in the staff. Free breakfast, but u need to wash your own dishes. Good beds but the toilets and showers could be cleaner. Sometimes didn't have toilet papers in it. Just one computer but free wifi in the entire bulding. Average hostel, but great location. Recomended for a couple of nights only. less

Over the top fun!!! Free tea and coffee all day, which I took full advantage of while watching tv and uploading pictures and nursing my hangover. The town has lots of pubs and clubs. The staff took us out to all the best places!!! We learned a lot on the free walking tour too. less

They cancelled my reservation while I was making my way there, just an email has been sent, which is abviously not the customer friendly way (when they had my phone number too) to cancel a booking less then 24 hour before the arrival, however they managed to give us the booked room, so it was just a strange intermezzo. However the hostel is fine... less

Paddy's palace impressed me. There is a great staff, extremely helpfull, and fun to be around. The facilities are very clean, confortable, and breakfast is included. I recomend it to anyone travelling trough the great city of Derry less
