Not much else in Dubai to choose from for budget travellers. Washing machine in room was an extremely welcome surprise. Don't buy their food, there's a great supermarket 2 min walk away. Just be sure to find out which golden sands you're staying at because there is ten of them and the taxi drivers will want to know which one when dropping you off. Fortunately they are all placed close together if you can't find out exactly which one before you arrive. less

The Hotel is located in Sharjah- not in Dubai . Sharjah is not as free as Dubai so you have to take care in terms of clothing and habits when you leave the hotel. But anyway, the hotel is very cheap and it´s about 45 to 1 hour drive to Dubai Deira (usual traffic). Staff is always friendly and helps if necessary. So I can recommend it for low budget travellers who are able to agree with a strictly alcohol prohibition and stronger clothing laws (Yes, it´s a law!). less

This hotel should be considered as budget, however, good location, very helpful staff and all the things you need, such as towels, bus station in front of the hotel etc. Not the cleanest hotel maybe, but especially the location was good. For this price, think I would chose this hotel again. less
