Just arrived home in the UK after a great break in Dublin at the Globetrotter Hostel, could find no faults - the breakfast each morning was excellent would certainly recommend to anyone. Suitable for all ages - young and old. Great location only 5 mins walk from O\'Connell Street. The Celt Bar in Talbot St just round the corner was a very lively and popular place to drink on a night. I would definitely come here again. less

The staff was lovely and friendly. Another positive point to add is that they react fast to situation. Our room hot water was not working and right away, they changed another room for us in the middle of the night, kudos to that. less

The hostel might be good for a group young people travelling for meeting others and going out, but for a couple it was a bit noisy and not cosy at all - the rooms we're awfully cold and not that clean, you didn't even really want to sleep in them...
