Very clean hostel. Would not suggest for younger people as there were a large amount of families, older people, and children. Location was the biggest downside. If you want to see a lot of the city or go out at night you have to take the tram or underground basically everywhere. And then walk 10min from the undeground station to the hostel. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. less

Loved it!
The room was confy, clean and warm. There was a spacious shower, a couple of water bottles and a TV that had the local channels, CNN, a 24h fireplace (with crackling wood and all) channel and... er... two 24h porn channels.
The breakfast was top notch with 4 types of cereal, milk, coffee, various sorts of tea, fresh bread, jam, butter, ham of various sorts and many other things.
The staff (as all Dusseldorfians) were extra nice and helpful with tips and directions to enjoy the city. less

This hotel does exactly what it says on the tin. It's cheap clean and basic. Getting to the hotel from the Ubahn couldn't be easier just follow the directions they give you.
We ended up staying in a room accross the road from the hotel. The only downside was the lock on the room was suspect at best.
The Hotel is right on the edge of the Altstadt so the madness and mayhem begins at the front door, (If you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs).

once inside the building I was confused. after I went all the way up the stairs and down again I decided to try the orange door, and found it. Maybe a sign would help? Staff, really helpful! Very flexible, I arrived late and left early, and I could go my own way without bugging anyone.
Thanks a lot! less

I have never experienced a hotel with an excellent service like Apart Hotel Düsseldorf.
What almost made me cry, was when I saw the owener standing in the kitchen, cooking the eggs for the guests breakfast -all by herself!
Normally you asume the breakfast is in the very simple end, when you stay at hostels like this one. But believe me, the breakfast is just as good as going out having brunch at a café outside.
All the best, 10/10 points from me! less

The hotel is small and clean. The Staff is very professional and is there for what is necessary but there is no fun or place for it. The lodge is very small and there is no common room. The breakfast is fantastic and is open until 11h in the morning (a delicious all you can eat).
