Very youthful and it can be a bit noisy, so I wouldn't recommend it for older people. My only complaint is about all the damn deposits! I would prefer to pay an extra pound in cost than put a deposit down on everything - towel, lock, room key.. especially when you're trying to use up the currency before you leave the country and suddenly you have 14 more pounds. My dorm was quiet and had a private bathroom which was great, though it didnt get cleaned in the 2 days I was there...dont know how it would be in the big dorm and sharing bathrooms though - the common tiolets were pretty grotty and some didnt flush.
