Abolutely gorgeous riad.. the decor was of similar standard to many of the mueums that we visited in Fez. Pool and courtyard area was stunning. Our first night wasn\'t great. We arrived late at night and were placed in a room which was obviously not meant for use by guests (broken window, no tv and very dusty). Staff moved us the next day though. Great food in the restaurant downstairs. Very sophisticated place. People keep to themselves and it was definately not a party zone. Close to the cen less

Loved the stay, food was excellent rooms were fantastic. A bit pricey but worth the money. Staff was exceptionally attentive. Ove all my brother and I wished we could have stayed longer. Wow! Where to begin! This place was so impressive....during our visit to Morocco we stayed in many Riads, but this was by far the most ornate and impressive. Although this was considerably more expensive than many of the others, it was worth it for a bit of luxury to enjoy staying in such surroundings in the wonderful city of Fes. The taxi from the train station dropped us at the correct 'gate' where the owner met us and was very friendly. We were given a map and advice to get a guide to show us around. We were wary about getting a guide, but this was the best decision. The man who took us around Fes was so friendly, polite and knowledgable, we got such an insight into Moroccan life from him. I would highly reccomend that you ask for a home cooked meal here. We had an absolute banquet on our second night (you have to give warning at least the morning, if not the day before, so they can go out and buy fresh food according to your dietary requirements! I am a vegetarian but eat fish and they catered for me, and my carnivorous boyfriend!) It was an amazing experience to stay here, like staying in an ancient well preserved palace! I would say it was worth the money for the experience somewhere so different to anywhere else I have been. The staff were fantastic, our meal was superb - they even cooked us pancakes for breakfast at 5:30am before we caught the bus at 6am! All in all 10 out of 10! Thank you! less
