This hostel is excellent with great facilities and a great vibe. It's clean, the beds comfy and the bar service is very good. Also, pretty good value evening meals, which are very social. I hate to say this, but the main downside were the Australian door assistants. Miserable at times, very unprofessional, and damn right rude most of the time, especially the female. Some of the worst staff I've met in hostels. At least the local staff make up for this as they are great. Keep up the good work! less

Absolutely superb hostel that made our stay in Florianopolis amazing. Brilliant location and views, great food, extremely safe and MOST importantly the staff are all legends that will help you out as much as you could want, really really great place to be - would 110% recommend it to anyone going to Florianopolis. If you go make sure you take a trip in the famous fun bus it's always eventful. less

One of the best hostels ive been to. the location is great (right beside 2 quality beaches), the staff are all friendly an helpfull an a great laugh. the food was very nice as were the rooms and they organise nights out an things to do every night. were meant to stay for 5 days an ended up staying 11.Florianopolis an this hostel were both top draw..def try an go P12 beach parties....amazing.. less

Good location and breakfast, majority of the staff were awesome. Surf boards need some attention so if you're more than a beginner dont let this be your deciding factor, but you cant rent from many places near the beach. Bikes were a great way to explore the island. I would stay here again. less

Probably the best hostel we have stayed at on our 6 week adventure bumming around South America. Dinners are amazing and ya gotta love Caipirinha´o´clock! Best of all is the staff and the environment they create - an instant home away from home. I read somewhere that Backpacker guests dont feel like they are going home when they leave, they feel like they are leaving home when they´re gone. less

after spending the summer here last year i returned to paradise and to sharehouse to continue a journey with my backpacker family. i have been travelling for 5 years and am an expert on hostel evaluation; this place is the bomb! the location speaks for itself, a tranquil splendour. the hostel is clean and spacious and as for the staff.. well it is difficult for me to portray my gratitude for all they\'ve done for me. full of laughter love and life they make this hostel what it is; perfect. less
