Everything was great except for the weather and the short daylight in Nov. When we reached the hostel, it looked eerie as is was dark and desolated until we met the lady in charge and when we went inside the hostel, everything in our perception has changed. fortunately we drove there via a gps (tom tom) , otherwise it may be difficult to look for it as it is not very near to the town of Fort Williams less

Our room was nice and toasty once we got there. We got the four bedroom ensuite bunkhouse and it was great! They had the warmest bed covers and I had a great night\'s sleep. There were also no other guests while we were there so we basically had a whole lodge to ourselves. The only thing I didn\'t like was that they didn\'t tell me I had to pay in cash. less

I really appreciate the staff's perfect attitude to the fact that although I booked a four-bedded room for my female friend and myself, nobody else shared the room with us. I would recommend this hostel to all those who are looking for something nice and cheap at the same time. Thank you very much once again, dear STAFF. less

What lets this place down is the fact that it is not actually in Fort William (as adverstised), it is ten miles away with buses few and far between. The village of Roy Bridge is remote and absolutely tiny. There are also no members of staff around till 4pm and there was no hot shower. Perfect though for quiet countryside walks. less
