The most enjoyable hostel - in fact as a home-stay. Leah is truly the best host I ever met around the world, she is so cheerful and helpful just like an angle appeared on time for us!! God bless you my Dear Leah! ;) Definitely want to return for a longer stay. Strongly recommend this to everyone who like to feel at home and don't mind to ride the bicycle for a fun short trip to downtown! (from: Tony, Vietnam) less

I was nervous after reading previous comments of crazy people living there but my stay couldnt have been nicer. It's a basic affair but very charming, a bit in the middle of nowhere, no shops/ restaurants nearby but Houston is a huge city built for drivers, and the hostel was close to the city metro-rail to go all over and good enough to walk to the excellent museums and parks. It's not a fun hostel, the people staying were older, serious and not on holiday, but it was a great oasis of peace. less
