Lukas lodge was one of the best hostels I've been to in a while! Luka is great value and makes you feel welcome instantly! He picked us up from the bus and then drove us all the way to the ferry when we were leaving! The rooms are clean and tidy as are the general areas. He has BBQ's every 2-3 days (we had 2 while we were there and stayed 3 nights) and is a local so has great tips and advice on Hvar. Also really central and easy walking distance to any of the beaches, town etc less

Can not recommend highly enough. Clean, very comfortable, private and great value. Felt like a hotel. Very easy to find by car if coming from port of Stari Grad, and free parking (3rd road on left once go pass ‘Hvar’ town sign). Owner extremely friendly and spent a long time indicating good restaurants etc. on a map she gave us. Initially felt like alittle far from town but turned out to be 5-10 min walk and had amazing view from our apartment. Would be happy for my parents to stay there! less

we had a fantastic night in this studio apartment - we wished we could have stayed longer. Location is ideal right in the centre - but a street back away from noise. Rena, was very helpful, met us at the ferry and helped us with accommodation at our next stop Korcula island. Yes also made contact prior by email and text. We would love to go back. less

the directions to this guesthouse are vauge to say the least. when we finally found the place it had no sign outside to say it was a guesthouse there wasnt even a sign to say what house number it was only by asking several locals did i find it. when we got in they had no idea of my booking and what type of room we wanted. But he plus side its five minutes away from the center and the view from the balcony was stunning less

Great loction, 10min walk from the port. We had the studio apartment with own bathroom, kitchen and big balcony. This is a great place to stay as a couple, as not really any opportunities to meet other backpackers. The apartment was fantastic and we would deffinately stay there again. less
