This resort is by far the best on the island for a younger crowd (20 to 30 years). You are right by the village where you can grab some traditional greek meals as well as walking access to the many fun bars. Mike and Maroussa, the owners of the hostel, were very hospitable and friendly. Mike picked us up from the port, showed us where to go, and had a few drinks with us. The rooms were big and clean with a great view of the village of ios. Only 15 min scenic walk to beach. AMAZING! less

Skala was amazing, clean sheets everyday, or if your still in the room they won\'t kick you out. the view is absolutely worth the walk up the hill to the hotel. owners and staff were nothing but helpful and friendly, there was nothing that wouldn\'t help you with. plus the resturant they have is one of the best on the island. i\'m coming back whenever i can. less

Great value, situated right on the beach!! Everything was pretty clean - however you had to hold the shower head and there were no hooks to hang your stuff... Great location, and restaurant was also great with friendly staff. Down side was lots of things were closed on the camping side like the pool, courts and shop. Worst was the bathrooms- the toilets were not cleaned once in the 4 days we were there, showers were also bad. I wouldnt stay on the camping side next time but you can't beat the location of the resort on the whole. less
