I liked the hostel, but I had a bad taste in my mouth after I asked to get a taxi to the airport (and it clearly states it is 20ringit) and was charged 25 ringit. I didn't mind paying the extra 5 ringit, but the woman that called for the taxi told us that it was the correct, but she must have gotten a larger commission for calling this one taxi. less

Our stay was excellent. The hostel staff was very friendly and they had an incredible security system. They've also been very helpful about arranging tours for us - even now when we're on the other side of Sabah. The only drawback was the alley behind the hostel smelled a little and would occasionally waft into the room at night. But once the windows were closed, the smell went away. less
