It was close to the sights in the southern part of Kyoto and easy to access all the others. On my last night there we ended up all going out including Yoshi for Sushi and Karaoke. I highly recommend it. close

When I asked for directions to a restaurant where we had reservation, we were sent on quite the wild goose chase by the staff at the desk. We ended up going on a 30 minute taxi ride to finally end up at the restaurant that was only about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. close

It is a beautiful, traditional Japanese style house, so if you\\\'re considering staying in a ryokan, I would recommend this as a better value option. close

VERY central location for historical exploring, and about 10 minutes by bus and 25 minutes walk from the shopping district. only complaints were that check in isn't til 3pm. Also, I'd say that the directions are slightly wrong - you go back in the direction that the bus came and take the first right, and then the second right after that (not the first as their website says). close
