In all of my hostel experiences, this was far and beyond the best hostel I have ever stayed at. I think it's fair to say that it's Brian's doing - he makes the place a community and not just a place to sleep. I was travelling on my own but I don't think I spent more than an hour alone (by choice.) Great people, great facilities, great location, and run to perfection. Looking forward to going back... less

The hostel is very clean and fresh. The kitchen is well stocked with good pots and pans. It's a shame the (free)computers were in the lounge which was also the TV room, and reading or chatting with other travelers was not possible as people were watching videos in the dark. No reading lights make it very difficult for the bottom bunk person. I understand these 'problems' will be addressed before re-opening next summer. Great place to stay and I increased my stay by an additional 4 nights less

We had a great stay at Angela's Guesthouse. Angela was a fantastic hostess and made our stay in Lagos such a positive one. Not only was the guesthouse in a central spot, clean and secure but Angela also prepared a great breakfast each morning also. Would highly recommend this guesthouse and should we return to Lagos, we'll definitely be staying there again. less

Jamie is really easygoing & helpful with local informaition - ESPECIALLY on restaurants and surfing! The hostel is clean and the furniture in the communal area is new. It's great for backpackers and can be noisy when people are moving/hanging around. The water pressure wasn't great in the shower and the pillows weren't very comfie. If you're going to cook, the kitchen is small and averagely equipped. It can be musty-smelling in the room. less

Ok so we stayed here in winter, thats the only reason I didnt give it 100% fun. Its a great hostel with really friendly staff and the crepes you get for breakky are amazing, but if you want a party make sure you come in summer. Really good location, cosy atmosphere. Definitely stay here is you are staying in Lagos less

Really nice place to stay with a very homely feel. Arthur is very friendly and helpful with everything. The accom is very clean and the terrace is night. Despite the silence rules at night your still able to enjoy and evening on the terrace and then head out and come home when you like. I could stay here again, and the location is central. less

We booked three days at Zelinda's and stayed five days. It is a great place to relax and feel at home. My husband ended up getting sick and Zelinda was very helpful and comforting during that time. After moving around from hostel to hostel for two months it is a great quiet place to relax. We felt safe and didn't have any problem leaving our stuff in our room. Internet worked great, store nearby. A bit of a walk to the beach but no problem at all maybe 15min. less

We really loved our stay. The owner was friendly and welcoming and our room was spacious and the bathroom was also a good size and even had a bath as well as shower. We had a balcony which looked down on the main street below, and enjoyed sitting out on it for breakfast. The only downside is that sometimes the room could be a bit noisy at night, with the busy street below (I'm sure rooms on the other side were quieter but we did have a balcony). However, the location was great. less
