The staff here were incredibly enjoyable! We definitely recommend signing up for staff dinner at least once. There was only one shared shower, not sure how many rooms/beds need to use this. Very difficult to find with the web site explications if you don't have the adress in Chineese. The dorms are far to be confortable. This is cheap but you will sleep on very hard sleeper and in a noisy place. Twin rooms seem to be more confortable. But the location is perfect, at the end of the touristic street and at the beginning of the real chineese town. less

Great location, cool setup but could definitely do with a better place to watch dvds than in the reception doorway, also no real bar or restaurant. Maybe get that big fireplace started as its starting to get nippy. Good price for airport pickup but double the price for taking you to attractions (same distance). Booking *private car*for a *whole day* means they will take you and pick up from site only (very unclear). Argued with reception girl about this- she gave us major attitude. Mixed feelings. Mama is a loudmouthed recalcitrant bully who doesn't listen to a word you say - e.g. she refused to let me do my washing in the evening, despite the fact that otherwise there would be no time for it to dry before I left. On the other hand, she is always good humoured, the tours are pretty good value and the dinner she cooks is excellent.
