Excellent hostel, like a home away from home. Its small, only two rooms but the owner makes you feel very welcome. Nice rooms, bathroom is fine but no lockers - not really a major problem there though as it has a friendly atmosphere. Great location, short 5 minute walk to the riverside bars and restaurants. Great small hostel. Not an institution like some. They gave us a great rundown of the city and places to go! Good common room and good wifi. Little kitchen but enough because the hostel is small. Two flights of stairs for those with haeavy packs. Clean bathrooms, Spacious rooms. Great location. short walk from train. Only annoyance was the squeaky arse floor that makes even the most thoughtful quiet person wake everyone up when moving about the room. Would stay here again though for sure! Very unique hostel, worth the stay. Very nice breakfast, good location near train station and centre. Kitchen was very small but had what you need to cook basic meals. Really nice place to stay in Ljubljana. The distance from the Old Town doesn't matter so much, buses are frequent and bikes can be rented. Excellent breakfast (meats, bread, cheese, spreads etc), and nice homely feel. Wasn't busy when we stayed so one shower/2 toilets not an issue, and small kitchen wasn't too bad either. This place is really nice. It's a bit of a hike from the city, 20 minutes on the bus but once you get there it is worth it. The rooms are great, very new and there is cable tv, free internet, a kitchen and a nice common room in the basement. I found it to be a really good place to meet other travellers and would stay here again. less

We stayed in the double room with the private bathroom. Overall a nice place to stay, clean and well kept. The one clear negative was a 'very bad' smell coming from the toilet and bathroom plumbing in general... (If that issue could be addressed I'd have little else to fault.) It was raining for our whole stay at this hostel, and it wasn't a pleasant place to be. Dark, dank and kinda wet and dirty. It just didn't seem like that nice a place. Bit dirty and the bathrooms weren't great either.
Stove only half worked and the fridge was just a over crowded bar fridge.

This hostel is GREAT!! Perfect location, clean room and very friendly staff. Only negatives were the luke-warm/cool water in the shower and the toilet smelling of urine. Saw the cleaners literally cleaning the walls of the dormitory... the same attention is required for the toilet!! Otherwise, we loved it- warm, welcoming and very good value for money. less
