On the web-site it was mentioned that the location of the hostel is 5 min walk to Oxford St. However, i think this information is a liitle bit misleading because its at least 15. min walk from Oxford. This information should be reviewed. And the night that we arrived we haven’t been provided with towels. We had to wait the following day. This service should be improved. less

Located near 3 main train stations and compared with what you usually get in London for this kind of money it was clean and not bad value, although you do need to pay for all the extras - padlocks, internet, towels, breakfast etc. The sound of the traffic outside is also pretty loud in the rooms overlooking Euston Road. less

Great location near Leicester square, not far from all the main attractions, day and nightlife. Spacious rooms, kitchen open 24h hrs. Kind of mellow, but lounge and dining area make it easy to meet people who are going out if you so desire or just to chill with. Great staff and better beakfast than most. less

This place was in a good location for me, and very clean. The bed was a little hard, but I went to sleep anyway. My one gripe was that although there were pans and crockery in the kitchen there was NO CUTLERY!! Even plastic would have been better than nothing!
Staff seemed a bit 'helpless' about it and vaguely seemed to agree that it was perhaps because 'they' are worried that I might use a knife to kill someone. Is this health and safety gone mad!?! less

This was the first time I have used a hostel. I can highly recommend the London House Hotel, the location was excellent, very close to the tube and lots of local restaurants. The London House was clean and comfortable, the only thing I would of liked was another pillow! I would not hesitate to use the hostel the next time we visit London. less

This is a school dormitory and is available to rent over the universities summer break. The room was clean, i felt safe and my stuff was safe. The reception were helpful and the staff friendly. Th continental breakfast everyday was amazing. It was a good area too with plenty of theatres, bars, pubs and clubs around. One thing, if your travelling alone, as I was, LSE is not a very exciting place. If you want a crazy time with other travellers, go elsewhere! If you want priceless security, stay! less
