Best hostel I've been to! The staff and especially May is so wonderful and very helpful. Nice, clean rooms, fully equipped kitchen and cosy living room, and the atmosphere is great.
It's not located in the center of Manila but you can get there easily by train, and the nearest station in a 5 min walk away. less

Nice Japanese man and his wife (and dog) running this small house-cum-hostel. One main dorm room with about 10 beds (5 bunks), and some other rooms I didn\'t see. Shared bathrooms have hot water but need a good scrub. Has WiFi but no PCs. Close to some shops, internet cafe and a main road. Close to (south of) the airports. Good choice if you\'re just passing thru Manila for a night. less

IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE TRUE SIDE OF PHILIPPINES, THEN THISIS YOUR PLACE. IT IS AWAY FROM ALL THE TOURISTS AND YET CLOSE TO ALL THE AIRPORT TERMINALS. I DECIDED TO STAY 3 MORE NIGHTS BECAUSE I LOVED THE HOSTS AND THIS PLACE SO MUCH.
STOP LOOKING FOR ELSEWHERE. THIS IS IT. less

We only stopped one night as we were up and away the next day. From what we saw, it was very clean and staff were friendly.

Small rooms. Staff's are noisy, occupy vacant room and use their cellphone in a loud speaker. Aircon unit difficult to reach its near the ceiling. Even standing in a chair you have to be at least 6ft in order for the guest not to be in their tip toe. Wet floors because of the drip from the aircon units. Rooms can be easily opened from outside because it does not have a double lock. Backflush from the toilet bowl its a bit of a hassle if your in hurry. less
