Very cool little hostel right beside the downtown of Mexico city, very close to the scary part of town too though. But i think that comes with being near down town. The place was great. Very friendly staff that were always willing to help you have a nice stay in Mexico City. Only bad thing is there is a barking dog in the morning, but it's not very bad. Sorta run down, you're paying for the location: dingy linens that slipped off bed, uncomfortable mattress that sloped in the middle. Room was stuffy with no fan and we could hear every word anyone said in the whole building with booming echoes. Bar/cafe on the roof played loud music until 1am followed by extended loud talking in the hall (staff did not intervene) Mostly secure: free locked luggage storage after checkout but no deadbolts on doors.
