Nice hostel, in a good location in Pocitos. Relatively close to the bus terminal -- a short bus or cab ride; or a thirty-minute walk. Close to the beach and convenient for buses to the Cuidad Vieja. Good atmosphere. Only stayed one night, and the staff cooked up chivitos for dinner that night. Could easily have stayed longer if my scheduled had allowed. less

Beds way too hard and pillows way too non-existent, but overall a wonderful place with a great, fun-filled staff.

our room was right beside the common area and the reception therefore all through the night it was so noisy and from very early in the morning! also the room had 10 beds but was very small, no room for everyones bags. staff were lovely, nice common room and nice kitchen! also only 2 showers between about 20 people! less

I wish that the staff spoke english better, but they were friendly. The common areas are nice but the bedrooms were pretty cold at night and the hot water was unreliable. Also, the breakfast constitutes sliced white bread and coffee, so that was a bit disappointing. Other than that, it´s a good choice. less

I would like someone from your organisation to contact me. I was charged $45 USD for the room (resv #21875-15322817) not $36 as the gal at the front desk told me that the hostel exdhanges Ururguayan pesos at 25p to the dollar not 20, which was the current exchange rate. How can the hostel do this?
I paid in Pesos the 900 requested not the 720 owed. Please explain! mikdppl@gmail.com less
