As for cleanliness I give it the highest mark, but then again this is in Germany where most lodging are clean anyway. less

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was kind in helping us find a church for mass on sunday. The rooms were pretty clean. The only issue we ran into was a roommate hogging the one room key - the hostel employee seemed a little reluctant to let us back into our room and insisted that we go looking for our key instead. Otherwise, great price for a good location, and the bar area was great for hanging out with other travellers. less

Nice hostel, clean in the center of Munich (although its located in ethnic part of the city). Free simple breakfast with toast bread and jam + coffee or tea included. The place is huge, +300 beds. We were there in the off season so it was mostly empty but it was great fun. The staff are really friendly and definitely know their stuff. Ask the bartenders where to go for fun. It's a 10 min walk from town square and the place was spotless (It's also mostly brand new.) Hell, even the beds were soft with big fluffy pillows.
The downside was that breakfast sucked. Delicious toast. Yay. less
