The security and cleanliness were very good, although turning in your keys when you departed was annoying. Especially if members of your group separated and only one person had checked in and left his or her ID. However, that complaint does not prohibit me from recommending Wombat Hostels. less

Actually the security was also O.k., the reason I didn't give it 100% was that the locker under the bed didn't have a lock at all. And the others didn't seem very safe also. In my opinion combination locks aren't very suitable. less

The biggest advantage of this hostel is the location. Easy to find it from Central Train Station and access to other public transportation like tram. Rooms clean. Good breakfast. But it opens at 7:00am every morning. You will have some problem if you have a very early train to catch. less

This is a great place to stay with a bar downstairs and wifi in the lobby. Its easy to meet ppl. My only negative is that the lockers are terrible, most of them can be openned by twisting the handle hard with the lock on. Not safe for you stuff as anyone could get at your stuff. Other than that Munich is awesome and Jaegers is a great place to stay. less
