A most enjoyable stay. The staff was welcoming, I especially found helpful the bulletin board with today's entertainment, where to go, what to see. Showers were very clean, water pressure excellent. Loved the koi pond and the backyard, the Hostel building itself and all the artwork. Would go back and recommend for sure. less

I loved the hostel!! Its in the great historical garden district. It was very easy to get everywhere in new orleans. The staff was great, I decided to extend my stay as the staff and guests made a huge feast for thanksgiving!! Of course pancakes for breakfast is by far the best! Thank you!!! I will come and visit here again! less

itīs close to the French Quarter, although, the neighborhood isnīt the best one. You should take a taxi at night. The staff was excellent, very friendly. I just saw one bathroom in the whole hostel, but I didnīt have to wait, because we were only a few people. Facit: itīs a cheap hostel, although, next time, I will choose another one. less

The lady who attends the hostel was not there when I arrived. I waited for 30 minutes to get there. It seems that the lady who attends is never there and you have to call her, but It takes a long time to her to get there. It happened like that with all the guests who arrived after me.
The location is good you can walk to the french quarter. less

I miss the snacky things the hostel used to offer in the office. Particularly in the morning. It would be great to be able to grab something when heading out the door on the way to what ever the day brings you, instead of trying to find a breakfast place where ever. less

The office is not open all the time, and there is no other form of secure accessible storage as there are no lockers. The kitchen is only open between certain hours. The rooms all have a strange smell and some have broken air conditioners. Wifi is only available in the lobby which is very inconvenient, and there are no events organised / good locations to meet fellow travellers. Local area doesn't have much very nearby, but easy to get to places on the streetcar. less
