I am SO glad I came to La Casa sul Lago!! Giuseppe, Agnese and Giangiacamo treated me like a long-lost friend from the moment I was picked up from the train station!
Great value for money - the many extras at no charge were gratefully received. Huge breakfast with Agnese's coffee was the perfect way to start the day. Convenient location (very close to the mini-metro stop, the city centre and several look-out points). The room was hot compared to outside, without a fan or air-con. In really sunny weather it could be uncomfortable. Bathroom very small, and smelled strongly. Had to keep the door closed to stop the smell filling the bedroom too. Staff very pleasant and helpful - both speak excellent english. Breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was good too. less

Very spacious and clean hostel with a great building in a large garden. Staff was helpful. It is very easy to find and close to the minimetro (cutest vehicle ever). Price is really not much. Breakfast is a bonus and you may pay with a credit card.
