The apartment was in a nice quiet location within walking distance of several beaches. The owner picked us up from the airport as we stayed for more than 5 nights and gave us plenty of information about the local area. It was very easy to get in and out of Pula on the local bus, only a 20 min journey. All in all a lovely place to stay for a quiet and relaxing holiday and well located for day trips and beaches. I would definitley go back again. less

The couple that were running the hostel could not have been more lovely - when I arrived Zoran immediately gave me a map and showed me everything I should see in the area. The next day he and his wife took me to see their olive trees, made me a giant meal, and just generally made me feel welcome. less

The guesthouse was OK, but really hard to find. The buses are confusing, in fact bus 2A is the best option from the bus station/city center and 3A in the opposite direction. The buses do stop at the closest Palisina 1 stop, but it's after the Verudela stop (it’s not a terminus). There was no information how to get into the house as the owner wasn't there and I had to make a call (1.80 EUR/min). You really cannot fault the location in many ways with this drawing me to the hostel in the first place, as it is right by the beach. I found the atmosphere was mixed from the staff and there was little security and character in the hostel. I would not come here again but at the cheap price it is an option for the ultra-budget hostellier. less
