This guesthouse is excellent value for money in iceland and fantastic personalised service that is so ard to find espically in hotel chains. Very caring and patient hosts that help you with everything from booking tours to resturant recomendation.
The room was very nicely decorated and very clean. The furniture was very nice and the room have been recently redone.

A very pleasant hostel with a quirky love of all things elvish. Our room was unavailable so we were upgraded to the 'studio' upstairs which was very spacious and included a small kitchenette. The double rooms we saw were a good size, spacious and with lots of light. Would recommend to others less

Great central location but a bit tricky to find as entry is off the side street. Significant street noise as the guesthouse is on a main street. Didn't see much of the landlord - but pleasant and helpful. Heavy curtains in the room would be good to reduce the light into the room so that you sleep better when it's light for 24 hours. Only one microwave in the kitchen made cooking (the pasta and rice) tricky. No elements or stove available. less
