We really enjoyed it at the guesthouse because it was clean, secure and friendly. We weren't really there to meet people, but should have wanted to there was a kitchen area to hang out in. No complaints at all. Very nice! less

Very good option for a budget stay in Reykjavik. Easily connection with buses to the center and the owner is just adorable and happy to satisfy any costumer needs. If the room with a kitchen is available it's a very good option. Highly recommended. less

We stayed at this guesthouse for 4 days and it was the best place we stayed at in Iceland (from 6 hostels all over Iceland). The owner is really friendly and we were lucky to get the room with our own little kitchen and amazingly comfortable beds. You do have to find out where the right bus stop place is, otherwise you may be chasing your tail as we did for the first time. However, the right bus station is near. They have a lot of material on Iceland and nice bathroom. We were very satisfied! less

We only stayed here one night as we didn't spend much time in Rekyvik but if I return I will be sure to stay here again. It was clean, smart and comfortable (apparently we had the smallest room but it was still very spacious). Breakfast is included in your room to eat when you want. The guy working there wehen we stayed was vey helpful and was delighted to help us plan our week in Iceland. Thumbs up! less

The staff is a bit stiff, but very professional and give any help asked for. Beautifully laid out breakfast. Room advertised as 3-bed was too small for 3; it was clearly 2 plus extra bed and there simply wasn't air enough! less

The overall location is not bad, just a few steps away from the main shopping street. It is located on the corner of two very busy intersections though, so the street noise is incredibly loud, even with the windows closed. Very hard to get a good nights sleep. Overall, was not bad, but pretty spendy for what little we got. less

A comfortable hostel right bang in the centre of bustling Rekjavic. Private rooms in the main building, as well as a mixed dorm block opposite which is quite large, so easy to meet others, although some separation and privacy with the hospital style curtains. Nice communal kitchen and dining area and breakfast if you want to pay extra. Clean and tidy. The manager is very friendly, the other staff less so. less
