Heroic, legendary, basically a really cool place to stay in rosario. The location is great, about a 10 min walk from the city centre. The staff are all absolute legends, Max is a joker as well as being genuinely great guy full of useful information, like how much frenet a first timer should be drinking at once. I would highly recommend this hostel, but only if you like to party. less

i have visited many hostels during the years. la casona de don jaime 2 was the best in terms of the staff especially. they are so friendly and helpfull.. hostel is in a very central location.. the dormitorios are quite nice.. and also inside the hostel there is a high climbing wall.. and table tenis (be carefull Romina is a good player:))) less

Huge disappointment here. The dirtiest place we have seen in South America but that\'s not the worst : if you plan to sleep DO NOT COME HERE !!!
There was so much noise until 4 or 5am that we could not sleep, and that for both of our nights of stay. And the staff reproach us not to party with them ! We expect to sleep in a hostel. We have been to many hostels where there were big parties all night long but the guests who wanted to sleep could.
Another point : there is no library or book exchange and the breakfast is merely tea, coffee and bread without jam or butter... less
