The room was huge! When I was a student my room was half this size. It was very clean, the only problem was that I couldn\'t work out how to use the air conditioning unit and since the staff only spoke Spanish I didn't know how to report the problem. It is very secure as you have to use a swipe card to get through several doors before your own room door. The location is good, 10 minute walk from the bus station and a 10 minute walk from the plaza mayor. less

The service of room cleaning was just one per week, I have to ask for the room cleaning service because after two days in summer I need new bed sheets. Another issue that for me was a little bit uncomfortable was that the breakfast it is only serve until nine o`clock, if you are in summer holiday you have to wake up early if you want to have breakfast besides, the quality of the breakfast is not so good. less

I´m not sure why the reviews seem to be somewhat negative because I had a really nice stay at Hostal Mindanao. It has more of a hotel vibe than a hostel (it's quiet and there isn't really anywhere to meet people), but if you're looking for somewhere nice to stay in Salamanca, this is it. Good location, clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful. I stayed here while looking for an apartment and the owner went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Muchas gracias! less

I only stayed there overnight and because of the low season I got moved to a separate location on the other side of the street. Overall, I found this place clean and warm-it was awfully cold that day. Nothing to complain about-the price was great, too. To the Brazilian guy at the reception-I do hope you go ahead with your trip! Thanks for being so welcoming! less

This Hostel made my visit to Salamanca a nightmare. It was dirty, cold and had damp which made the room smell. Still trying to get my head round the wallpaper over the tiles which was starting to peel off the walls and the strange guys that tried their key in my door at 3 in the morning!!!! Also could not sleep as the bed was uncomfortable and the bedding looked like it was 20 years old.To make matters worst the bathroom was the worst. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! less
