We had a fantastic stay in San Pedro and it was made all the more relaxing and comfortable for us because Pancho the hostal host organised all the tours for us, left us early breakfast and let us shower after checking out & before travelling. Floor of room was full of hairs and other undefined stuff, and itÂīs a 15 minute walk to the city centre, which is very long for such a small town. Coming back in the night is a very quiet, dark walk back. Door of hostel is always open, even at night??? Shower is cold, if there's any water at all, and the door of both showers/ toilets cannot be locked. Character of the hostel is very good however, and Roberto is a very nice guy. Although a bit of a walk, the owner was very nice and took good care of us. The courtyard with hammocks was my favorite area. The Kitchen is very small but has everything you need. Also be prepared for lots of flies, so always keep your door closed! less

Potential to be a great hostel but is massively let down by the attitude and running skills of the owners/staff. Quiet at 11pm however people getting up at 4am for day trips can make as much noise as they please. It feels like the owners donīt really want to be there and the smile you get on arrival will be the last for your stay. A male drunk friend of the owners was allowed to stumble into our friends dorm to sleep for the night and into the ladies dorm on the next night. NEEDS NEW OWNERSHIP less
