Like previous comments, this isn´t really a hostel, just beds let above a bar. But they are clean and comfortable. Location next to station makes it easy to spot from the train, but it can get a bit noisy with windows open at night, and music/people in bar below. However its a good cheap alternative if you cant find a bed in Lisbon like I was. less

We went there in march. The common rooms could have been warmer. the breakfast was a bit poor, we had 4 days the same breakfast..no assortment. the place is not easy to find and there is nothing going on for young people. Without a car it is almost impossible to get to this place and away. the park surrounding the hostel is very beautiful. less

I only have good comments for this hostel and would recommend it to everyone. The owners were friendly, very helpful and gave me good recommendation for dining out in their area. The place is a bit difficult to find so make sure you clearly get driving info before to take the road. The rooms are cleans and the site in very quiet. less

Nice premises,however the staff seemed to be very cold and unfriendly. I almost felt unwelcomed. The rooms were ok, although the bathrooms was not partiuculary shining with cleanliness and the towels resembled old rags. When I had had my dinner later that day, i decided to have a cup of coffee with my dessert, but i was told there was no coffee served in the restaurant and i that i had to go upstairs and get the coffee from the bar. There was noone at the bar, so i went back and still insisted on having my coffee.the restaurant staff phoned the bar and got someone make me the stupid coffee. I had to go and bring it down. The whole scenario repeated when my partner wanted a coffee thirty minuter later. I could not believe it. Do not take ma wrong, i am not a proffesional complainer, although i may sound like one, working in a hotel myself, i just felt the services provided were not up to standard for a three star hotel. less

Great staff and great location! Pria das Macas is a beautiful little town, with easy access to other beaches and Sintra. Our room had a private bathroom, a big, comfortable bed, and a great view of the ocean. I would highly recommend Surfiberia! less

Lovely place, really nice buildings, great view and good pool. very nice staff, highly recommened, but you need a car, this place is 10km from sintra, taxis to and from cost around 10 euros less

Everyone was wonderful and the area was beautiful. Also, breakfast was outstanding!
