also some spanish guys drunk alcohol right before our room in the middle of the night.. well.. not very nice if u want to sleep at night ;)

This hostel is located very closely to the central station and city terminalen. Good security system with codes. I think it is impossible to get a good night sleep in the 12-bed dorm, due to people coming in and turning on the main lights/making noise all day. Maybe this shows what type of people visit this hostel; people who not sleep in hostels often and don't know the 'hidden' rules. The rooms are a little tiny, but then again they are former prison cells and well worth the novelty. Super clean, and the showers are great. It\'s a little walk from the metro and it is a little hard to find on the island (just follow the directions to the hotel). A little hard to meet other travellers here as well, but otherwise a great place to stay. Internet is free as well. Less good: the common room is more for eating than hanging out, I didn't find it terribly sociable.
Other people have complained in comments about the lack of natural light... go outside! less
