This is the first time I came to Taiwan. The people there were really nice and welcoming (including staff)! The hostel itself was very convenient and pleasing. The best part was that the room contains LED light and USB charger. I thought that it was pretty nice and exciting. I'd defitnitly choose Taipei BackPackers next time I visit Taiwan! less

Very close to MRT. My room wasn't cleaned during the four days I stayed, but I'm not sure if I had to ask the staff to get it done. But I only saw the staff a few times as it's a very small hostel. I'm no expert on accommodation in Taipei so compared to other places it might not be bad. It sure is cheap, but I still can't understand why it's rated so high. This is not your typical hostel. Its' located in a great place and super clean with the freedom as if you have your own apartment. I loved that aspect of it. In the heart of the NTU night market area, and super close to the subway and safe with the police station just next store. I would definitely come back. But its definitely not a place for socializing. Likely more suitable for the mature or older traveler or independent traveler. less
