I had a great time at the hostel! It was about a 5min walk away from the train/uban station. The subway is about a 10min ride to the central part of Vienna. The staff were great, they were very helpful and very nice! Every night a lot of people hang around the bar area, play the guitar..etc. It was a great atmosphere! Thanks for letting me have a great time :) less

This hostel was ok, but not as good as the one in Berlin. It was pretty impersonal and seemed to be focused mainly on getting as much money out of you as possible. This hostel was nice overall. It was a 20 minute ride to the main parts of Vienna, however the veiw's great. The only complaint we had was they say that there is 24 hour check-in available; we arrived at 7 am and had to stay in the commons area until 1 pm when our room was ready because check-in is at 2 pm. the staff is hit and miss. I spent two nights at that hostel in a neighborhood just 5 or 10 minutes from the very city centre by unterbahn.
Modern, nicely arranged and clean. Did not have to interact with the staff, but breakfast was good and substantial.
Shower and toilets were in our 8 people bedroom. I felt like sleeping in a real hotel... but for less cheaper ! I strongly recommend this place. less

The Do Step Inn hostel was very nice. The actual hostel is around the corner from the reception/hotel, and was very quiet and clean. It is about a 30 minute walk to the center of Vienna, but it is only 5min to public transportation, so if you want to pay, then its not an issue.
