Owners were very accommodating when we needed to stay an extra night at short notice. Also, due to lots of people wanting to stay before we got there, we ended up with a rather nice upgrade... ensuite :D
I would definitely recommend this hostel/lodge because of the staff and also Wanaka is very pretty! less

Excellent clean hostel with hotel standard rooms. Much better value than Queenstown and a great location. Plus the staff were really friendly/helpful too. Only downside was that we were opposite TV room which was a bit noisy but that stopped by 12. Also we stayed Sunday and Monday so no noise at all from the bar as reported by others! less
