A really friendly couple hosting this place. The room was as simple as Scandinavian design but had all you need - a comfortable bed, chair and a desk. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and quite recently renovated. The distance to downtown is easily walkable and 5min by tram. You won't find any other private rooms for this price from Zürich! less

Absolutely recommendable... Equipped kitchen is a big plus. Taking into account that Zurich is a very expensive city, the relation price-quality was very good. The owners of the apartment were very helpfull (speaking at least Spanish, English and German) :):)

We had a great stay here. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious all in a good location close to the main station and trams etc. We were apprehensive before arriving about the noise from the bar area but slept soundly both nights no problem. Close to the train station, nearby small grocery store, bakery,safe to wonder around. Couple blocks down the street there is plenty of bars to choose from, couple of dance clubs, restaurants. Room was big and neat, no AC but fan was in the room. Our room was facing the street, so we couldn\'t leave the windows open in the night because of the traffic noise,church clock nearby ringing every 15 minutes,and noise from the club downstairs. Before i stayed i read a review saying that the only problem was the pay tv didn't work, but i assumed it wouls have been fixed by the time i got there. But when i stayed it was still not working! i tried calling reception and there answer was "there's nothing we can do about it". Great place to stay and well priced. Room overlooking Lake Zurich was a nice touch. Staff was perfectly courteous and helpful at all hours. Wish we could have stayed for the vegetarian breakfast but we didn't have time. Location right across from central train station couldn't be better. Thank you for a pleasant stay. less

you like sleep in clouds of smoke? if yes this is the hostel for you, people are allowed to smoke in common room and smoke slowly fly into the dorm and stays with you till the morning, so not only you will have all your clothes stinking of smoke (not to mention lungs cancer), but if also your nose is sensitive it will be closed all night preventing you to sleep. I paid 25 euro to get a smoky sleepless night, should I be happy?? come on lets be serious men, go to learn from scandinavian hostels!! less
