A really friendly couple hosting this place. The room was as simple as Scandinavian design but had all you need - a comfortable bed, chair and a desk. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and quite recently renovated. The distance to downtown is easily walkable and 5min by tram. You won't find any other private rooms for this price from Zürich! less

Before i stayed i read a review saying that the only problem was the pay tv didn't work, but i assumed it wouls have been fixed by the time i got there. But when i stayed it was still not working! i tried calling reception and there answer was "there's nothing we can do about it". Great place to stay and well priced. They just need to fix the pay tv thing. less

Close to the train station, nearby small grocery store, bakery, safe to wonder around. Couple blocks down the street there is plenty of bars to choose from, couple of dance clubs, restaurants. Room was big and neat, no AC but fan was in the room. Our room was facing the street, so we couldn\'t leave the windows open in the night because of the traffic noise, church clock nearby ringing every 15 minutes, and noise from the club downstairs. Breakfast good, staff polite, helpful, speaking english less
