My name is Evelin and I invite you to enjoy this beautiful city of impressive scenery, friendly people and entertainment to suit all tastes. I opened Arequipay Backpackers in April of 2006 and, thanks to you, this hostel is a huge success and a dream come true! To have a hostel is a wonderful experience because it gives me the opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful people from around the world. It gives me so much joy to help them enjoy everything Arequipa has to offer and take home with them everlasting memories.

This lodge is a Backpacker´s hostel that not only offers a safe and clean, environment, but also provides a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. And the best thing of all is that here you will find a solution for all your travel needs. My biggest goal is to provide you with enough information to make your stay in Arequipa an unforgettable one. Another important bonus is that we are located in the historical center, just three blocks from the main square.

From the second story of my colonial hostal, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the volacano Misti and the snow-capped Chachani. Lying in one of the hammocks and taking in the wonderful landscape, is just the perfect start of a new day.
Arequipay Backpackers is a hostel fully equipped. We have a complete kitchen available free for the use of all our guests, a lounge with Internet free of charge, Web access in the lobby and Wifi in all rooms. You can also relax by watching Cable TV or choosing one of the DVDs in our extensive collection. Besides, we have a Game Room with: table soccer and all your board game needs like monopoly, backgammon, chess, and more. During the night this room transforms into a little bar where you can relax with a beer, and music, sharing great moments talking with the other guests of the hostel. You can enjoy the sunshine in our spacious courtyard and terrace in which you can also have barbecues with your friends or get to know new people. The breakfast is included in our prices and we offer you free coffee, coca tea and hot water 24 hours a day.
At the end of your stay with us, you can wait comfortably in our reception area for your taxi to pick you up and take you to your next destination. We are open 24 hours a day.

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY: Cancellations or changes are accepted only with mimimum 24 hours before the arrival date via phone or email. Same day cancellations, same day changes or NO-SHOW will result in 1 night charge per person regardless the reason from your Credit Card. We are not responsible for weather conditions, illness, flight delays or flight cancellations. If you do not arrive within 6 hrs of your scheduled arrival time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
The 10% deposit you pay on this website is per night accommodation. If you cancel any of the nights, the deposit for that night will be lost.
