About B&B Phileas Fogg

A small romantic bed and breakfast which suits the demanding tourist and business traveller alike.

Welcome to The Phileas Fogg in Brussels! We might not be the best, nor the most strictly organised, but certainly the warmest welcome in Brussels, and the quirkiest designs, is what you will find here.

We offer you the following types of rooms:

'The Blue Room' - a Japanese bridal kimono on the wall, an antique Indian mirror on the chimney, African antiques and a Japanese bed, purple-blue walls and blue curtains brought home from the Touaregs in Niger. A Starck shower, red brick walls, teak furniture and an italian tile-floor create the setting for an eccentric fully equipped bathroom.

'The Mezzanine' - so called because of its mezzanine level - a modern shower and over its copper sink a mirror I bought in Mexico back in 1985, a most comfortable double bed and an antique Indian cabinet.

'The Brown Room' - Brown as for the curtains, brown as well on the walls, brown is the color of the sofa and equally sets the tone of the primitive Moroccan painting.

'The Ensuite Room' - two communicating rooms can easily accommodate a family of four.

The Mandarine room, so called because of its colors, this one has a double bed, tv, large ward robe with mirror, and is gorgeously decorated. It shares the bathroom with one other room, and the bathroom is located 1/2 floor up.

Room 'n. 6': a not so small room with 1,4 meter large double bed, working desk and shared bathroom. Ideal as well for long term stays at highly reduced prices ( euro 650 / month - euro 400 / 2 weeks ). In case of long term stays, breakfast is not included in the rate.

If you are looking for a sterile place, this would not be your choice
