About Batemans Bay YHA
Our YHA hostel is situated within Shady Willows - a camping / caravan park set amongst trees and gardens. As well as the hostel accommodation, we offer sites for tents or campervans, plus self-contained cabins within our "green certified" park.
Batemans Bay YHA hostel offers dormitory, twin and double accommodation as well as family rooms and some ensuites. The large hostel kitchen and dining facility is clean and well-equiped. Enjoy free tea and coffee and an outside deck on which to relax and watch the native birds play. Or feed the hostel chickens and check out the vegie garden.
Broadband internet can be accessed through the hostel computer and wireless broadband is also available.
Hostel guests have use of all the facilities of the caravan park including swimming pool, playground, table tennis, barbecues, kiosk and laundry facilities. So enjoy the friendly atmosphere and mix with fellow travellers as well as Aussie families and the birdlife around the barbie and the pool.
We offer trips to beautiful Pebbly Beach where you can laze with the kangaroos and parrots after a bushwalk through National Parks and forests and a coastal trek along beaches and rock shelves. You can visit the unique Mogo Zoo which focuses on endangered species programs, go sea kayaking, cruise the Clyde River, go cycling, learn to surf, go fishing or just enjoy the beaches and National Parks.
Walk less than a kilometre to the nearest supermarket and a vibrant town life of pubs, clubs and cheap eats.
Batemans Bay is an ideal stopover between Sydney and Melbourne by car or coach and an easy link through to Canberra. There are daily bus services to all 3 cities.

Melbourne - 8 hours 760 km north along Princes Highway
