About Biohof Adam

Family Adam would like to welcome you on their organic farm. But we are not located in the city of Graz. Our location is about 44 km drivedistance southwest, on a hill near Großklein. Its in the heart of the south-styrian wine region, and the town of Leibnitz is about 14 km away. With train and bus you can reach us from Graz in about 1 to 1,5 hours. Or with car in 40 minutes.

From April to November, we open our small taverne, where we offer our own wine, juices and snacks with homemade bread, ham etc. We also run a shop, where we sell a large palette of organic products from our farm and also other farmers.

We have some playing facilities for children and a lot of animals like cattles, hens, ducks and many cats.

WHAT TO DO? Our property is an ideal base for hiking in the south styrian wine region with its several wine taverns. Just 5 min. walk uphill, you find a view tower ('Kreuzbergwarte') on te top of the 'Kreuzberg' Hill. From there you have an fantastic view all over half styria and upto Slovenia und Hungary. A fitness and nature trail with 1,5 km length, leeds through our fields, vineyards and forests. In summer you can find some swimming lakes in about 10 km distance. For cultural interested persons, there are some ancient sites and museums nearby, like the celtic necropole in Großklein or the roman temple on Seggauberg and roman ruins Flavia Solva near Leibnitz.

The styrian capital Graz with its quaint old town (UNESCO world cultural heritage) is just 45 min drive away. Also within 45 min you can reach Maribor in Slovenia (distance to boarder only 14 km), or the 'Koralm' mountains with its nice hiking area in 1600m to 2140 m altitude.
